いつも良いミックスが上がっているExtra Classic Magazineさんで知った、ナッシュビルのプロデューサー・チームGummy Soulのメンバー、Amerigo Gazawayによるレイドバックしたソウル、ジャズ、ヒップホップのサマー・ジャムをマッシュアップやコラージュを駆使して超絶にスムースな流れでミックス。
今年亡くなったアーティストや、このミックス聴くまで忘れていた自分が若いころ聴いていた曲（RJD2とか）、The Internetやタキシードなど最近の人気曲も収録しており、この気の利き方ならばヒップホップ育ちの35歳オーバーの皆様にも大変喜んでいただける内容じゃないかと。収録曲のファイト・ザ・パワーが選挙目前の雰囲気にも合っているいる気がしますし。
既に散々聴いて来たあまり進んで自分から再生しない曲をあらためて上手いこと調理してありますので、疲れ気味のおっさんもあまり小難しいことを考えずに聴けて脳も休まります。
若者の皆様もなんかデカイ白Tをベルトインしてマイケル・ムーアみたいな帽子を被り、やたらデカイバックパックを背負って、しっかりコロンたたいて、と90年代の服装で着飾りましたら次は90年代風味の音楽といきたいところですので、この理想的なミックスで身も心もキメていただければと。フリーダウンロードもありますので、雨の季節が終わったらMP3プレイヤーに入れて街や行楽に出かけたら良いかと。
